The Duta Junior Tennis Academy is a premier tennis instruction centre providing different levels of tennis training. It opens an avenue for young childen to learn the game for a lifetime in a fun and exciting atmosphere. It also exclusively holds intensive training for professional tennis players where trainees benefit physical, technical, tactical, mental and overall development of a player on and off the court.
Established in 1999, the Malaysian Tennis Academy is headed and run by the longest serving Malaysian No.1 player, V. Selvam. He is a Tennis Professional who received part of his training from the highly acclaimed Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. He achieved a highest ranking of 290 in the world. He holds numerous national records and is also known as the Malaysian Tennis Legend.
Since it first opened its doors, the Academy has been steadily growing in its number of students, activites and gaining vast experience along the way. The Academy has coached players from the beginner level to national junior players and ITF & WTA players. With the accomplishments and expertise of its Head Tennis Coach, V. Selvam, the Academy has attracted and done coaching stints for players from Australia, Sri Lanka and India.
